unemployment sucks and then again….it doesn’t as I sit here at 10 a.m. posting this. By way of introduction, I am a 52 year old married mother of two teenage daughters, and, yep, you guessed it, currently not working. Start a blog, said my oldest, so here I am. I guess the reason I took up her challenge was that I’m like the concierge of my friends who always ask for information, direction, suggestions, etc. I’ve turned into a lifestyle reference librarian — I can tell you the best, new hottest restaurant, shop or hotel in a given city. Not because I’ve been there, maybe I have, but more likely I’ve read about it somewhere or seen it online. So that’s one thing I’ll be writing about…and other suburban musings. Celebrated hubby’s birthday yesterday….have two things to say about that. Love the new Legacy Place in Dedham, MA where we saw Whip It…and hate to be negative in my first post but have to say had a horrible experience for dinner at Capital Grille in Newton. Cold expensive food does not a result in a happy birthday boy. Shame on you C.G. for bad customer service! Hope to have a re-do dinner soon.
